Zachary Rattner, MD is a board certified interventional radiologist specializing in dialysis access management and minimally invasive procedures for uterine fibroids, varicoceles, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), varicose veins, hemorrhoid artery embolization (HAE), and interventional oncology procedures. He also has special competence in nuclear and interventional radiology. Dr. Rattner is the Medical Director of Southern California Vein Care and San Diego Access Care in San Diego, California.
Dr. Rattner’s work focuses on artery and vein care, as well as minimally invasive procedures for patients with cancer, chronic kidney disease, and other conditions.
Dr. Rattner is a graduate of Princeton University and earned his medical degree from Temple University. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and a residency in radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He completed fellowships in nuclear medicine and interventional radiology at Johns Hopkins and Yale Universities.
Dr. Rattner served on the faculties of Yale and Northwestern Universities and has lectured at national and international meetings. Zachary Rattner, MD served as an advisor to national committees on behalf of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
