Richard D. Blair, MD

Richard D. Blair, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs minimally invasive procedures to treat dysfunctional vascular accesses. Dr. Blair is the Medical Director of Vascular Care of Greenville and Vascular Care of New Bern in North Carolina, where he provides critical care and maintenance to those with a dialysis access.

Dr. Blair is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. After earning his medical degree, he completed a general surgery internship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by an internal medicine residency at Saint Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Blair also completed a nephrology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Richard D. Blair, MD is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified by the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology and has participated in numerous research studies.
