Maria Pagtalunan, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in nephrology. Dr. Pagtalunan treats patients at Dialysis Access Center – Oakland, using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Pagtalunan earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines. She went on to complete two internships and a residency. Her first internship was completed at Philippine General Hospital, in Manila, Philippines, and her second internship and residency at Mercy Hospital, State University of New York, School of Medicine in Buffalo, New York. She went on to complete a fellowship in the Department of Medicine, Renal Division, at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California.
