Professional Background

Frank Tarantini, MD, FACS is a vascular surgeon with particular expertise in the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD) and AV fistula creation. Additionally, he is known for being at the forefront of various treatment modalities including radiofrequency ablation, laser vein closure, sclerotherapy injections, and peripheral arterial angioplasty and stenting. After graduating from Manhattan College, Dr. Tarantini earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn, where he also completed his residency in surgery and a vascular and endovascular fellowship.

Dr. Tarantini is a member of the American Medical Society, the New York State Medical Society, the Richmond County Medical Society, and the New York Society for Vascular Surgery. Frank Tarantini, MD, FACS is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has published several clinical papers.
